Santa's Light Trail

General Information

Our Illuminated Light Trail is a magical, night-time Christmas light show that showcases structures, installations, and illuminations created especially for Santa's Light Trail by our teams of local creative artists, lighting designers and craft-persons.

As you enter Santa's Light Trail though our magical illuminated archway you will wind your way around the pathways at Duxbury Park through an array of light installations, special effects, a walk around the Moon, Lasers and more as you wind your way through the displays and step inside the wardrobe and into to the secret walled garden of Narnia.

Inside the secret walled Garden will be more lighting, a selection of refreshments, hot and cold drinks including a bar plus kiddie rides and of course the big man himself SANTA CLAUS waiting in his log cabin to meet the children and present them with a quality gift. You can also meet Eric the Elf and get a selfie. Souvenir Photographs with Santa are available at an extra cost.

Terms & Conditions

THE POSSESSION OF A SANTA'S LIGHT TRAIL TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE AN ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND ADVICE DETAILED BELOW IMPLIES AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO ACCEPT THEM.

  1. These conditions are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the Santa's Light Trail website – santaslighttrail.co.uk
  2. All tickets once purchased are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any date swap for any reason, especially not the weather. Please make sure you book the correct date but if you are unable to attend on the day, please feel free to pass your tickets on to friend and family. 
  3. Visitors must arrive at least 15 minutes before their entry time and the last entry to the trail is 20:30
  4. The route is accessible to wheelchair users and to pushchairs
  5. Dress for an evening outdoors in the winter. Visitors are advised to wear warm clothing and suitable footwear. There are no cloakroom facilities at the venue, so visitors will not be able to store bags or large items. Scooters, skates, and bicycles are not permitted on site
  6. Santa's Light Trail will be open no matter what the weather is like, but if the weather is extremely bad and proves to be a Health & Safety risk to staff or visitors, a decision to close for the evening will be made on the day by 3:00 pm and you will be notified by email. Please note that unless we decide to close the event due to Health & Safety reasons, we will not be able to offer refunds or date swaps. If you decide to not attend the event due to bad weather, this is your decision and our usual Terms & Conditions apply. 
  7. Ticket holders, please present your full printed ticket to the stewards at the entrance on arrival.
  8. Visitors agree to the use of any photographs or video footage taken of them at the Santa's Light Trail for promotional and marketing purposes
  9. NO Food or alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the site.
  10. Private sound systems, illegal substances, legal highs, glass, fireworks, flares, laser pens, and any other item, which the organizers deem unsuitable or inappropriate will not be permitted into the site.
  11. Please respect the park and use the bins provided and help to keep the environment clean and tidy.
  12. No animals will be admitted to the site, except guide and hearing dogs.
  13. Santa's Light Trail is suitable for young children. Under 2 y/o is free to attend unless wanting a gift.
  14. Visitors aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  15. Photographs may be purchased with Santa in his log cabin at an extra cost.
  16. Strictly no trading is allowed inside the site.
  17. In the event of cancellation of the event on any day, customers will be offered another day to visit the event.
  18. Under no circumstances will duplicate tickets be issued should you lose or damage them. Keep your tickets safe, print them and bring them with you. You may not resell tickets. It is strictly prohibited to attempt to resell a ticket prior to or within the festival site under any circumstances.
  19. Photography and filming of the event structures are permitted and feel free to post onto social media and promote the event. However, filming with a drone is not allowed unless it is pre-arranged and has permission in writing. Filming or photography inside Santa's Log Cabin is also not allowed.
  20. This is a no smoking site. It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the site.
  21. The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the site.
  22. The organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions in accordance with any new laws, legislation, or internal company policies.
  23. Customers are liable to be searched on entry.
