Santa's Magical Grotto

General Information

Santa's Magical Grotto is a Christmas attraction that will be held at Duxbury Park Golf Club in Chorley, open initially from 5th to 7th December, and then from 12th to 23rd December 2025

Housed inside a giant structure you will enter the Elves’ Workshop where your children can write their letter to Santa, make a toy that they can take home, and listen to a Christmas story from the elves, each child will be given their own ‘Passport’ as they start their adventure to find Santa Claus.

Included within this unforgettable experience: Santa's Enchanted Elevator. Step inside and be transported to a world of wonder and joy, where the magic of Santa's Elevator whisks you away on a journey straight to the heart of the North Pole. As the doors close behind you, the elevator comes alive with twinkling lights, festive music, and a sprinkle of holiday enchantment, creating an immersive experience unlike any other. Feel the excitement build with each floor as you ascend towards a place where dreams come true and the spirit of Christmas is always in the air. Prepare to be amazed as Santa's Enchanted Elevator delivers you to a realm of endless joy and festive cheer, bringing the North Pole's heart-warming magic right to you.

Santa will give your child a Golden Ticket so they can visit his Toy Shop and choose any gift they like and will include plenty of opportunities to take some Elfie selfies and spread the festive cheer. Also get your passport stamped and collect your nice list certificate.

Adults will also receive a gift from Santa.

Your visit will last around 40 minutes. You will spend approximately 30 minutes In the Elves’ Workshop and 10 minutes in the magical elevator and visiting Santa.

The clubhouse will remain open throughout for refreshments plus licensed bar.

THE POSSESSION OF A SANTA'S MAGICAL GROTTO TICKET SHALL CONSTITUTE AN ACCEPTANCE BY THE HOLDER OF THE TERMS, CONDITIONS, AND ADVICE DETAILED BELOW IMPLIES AN UNDERTAKING ON THE PART OF THE HOLDER TO ACCEPT THEM.

  1. These conditions are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the Santa's Magical Grotto website – santasmagicalgrotto.co.uk
  2. All tickets once purchased are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 
  3. Last entry to the Grotto is 19:00 which is subject to change according to day or number of sold tickets.
  4. The Grotto is accessible to wheelchair users and to pushchairs.
  5. Dress for an evening outdoors in the winter. Visitors are advised to wear warm clothing and suitable footwear. There are no cloakroom facilities at the venue, so visitors will not be able to store bags or large items. Scooters, skates, and bicycles are not permitted on site.
  6. Private sound systems, illegal substances, legal highs, glass, fireworks, flares, laser pens, and any other item, which the organizers deem unsuitable or inappropriate will not be permitted into the site.
  7. Please respect the park and use the waste bins provided and help to keep the environment clean and tidy.
  8. No animals will be admitted to the site, except guide and hearing dogs.
  9. Visitors aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  10. Strictly no trading is allowed inside the site.
  11. No re-sale of tickets is allowed. We will cancel tickets found to be on re-sale.
  12. Photography and filming of the event structures are permitted and feel free to post onto social media and promote the event.
  13. For the health and comfort of the people on site, smoking is not allowed anywhere.
  14. The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the site.
  15. The organisers reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions in accordance with any new laws, legislation, or internal company policies.
